ALEX etc./week2

ALEX, also known as Alabama Learning Exchange is a magnificent site for teachers to visit. It explains many teaching options and study skills. Through ALEX, teachers are able to look at each subject and grade level. By doing so, they can find ways to improve their classroom and teaching methods.
For example, clicking on course of study and then mathematics, one can further choose which grade level and proceed to read certain math techniques. From this page, a teacher can receive ideas of how to explain math to a young child. Using pictures, stories, or colors are just some of the options.
Furthermore, lesson plans are also provided and helpful books are also listed. Options to select certain schools are also helpful on the ALEX site. Using this site would increase teacher awareness and understanding of the subject they teach. It contains various hints for good teaching and explains each lesson plan thoroughly.
Another good thing about ALEX is that it gives other sites to visit. One might want other opinions of lesson plans, teaching, etc. and ALEX offers that. It is a very good tool for teachers to use while in the classroom and outside of it. From this site teachers can also learn about special education and other forms of teaching.
